When I returned from Dubai, after doing a yoga retreat, I found Sadhguru. I have been wanting to go to India for quite some time and it's still on the bucket list. I wanted to go but knew I couldn't afford to go yet, so on my return, I started following Sadhguru. As the months passed in constantly consuming Sadhguru wisdom, I knew I wanted to get a closer look at what he had to offer. I found out about the "Inner Engineering" Program his organization (Isha Foundation) offered and since going to India was out of the finanial picture I decided to go to Tennessee. I remember my sister and a couple friends asking me if I am crazy but I went anyway. I took the flight, a friend picked me up, dropped me there and then I spent 5 amazing days.
At the Ashram it was mind blowing how calm, relaxing and great energy this place carried. I met some amazing friends from so many different countries. We had daily routines which were challenging, amazing food, mind-blowing yoga practices (which were really body challenging, which we got used to by the 5th day, ha ha) and lastly we just had great fun. This experience made me really connect with my inner being. Made me realise how we are all one with each other and even with nature. I grew an appreciation for life, not just mine, but others and creation (animals and nature), to the point where i didn't want to kill an ant after this.
We were taught to do certain yoga routines which allowed us to connect with our energy life.
Thanks to Sadhguru, he will forever be one of my mentors and I still continue to learn from him.
